Luxury retailer Tiffany & Co., plans to open a 4,500 square foot store in Nashville, Tennessee, mid-year 2006. The store will carry all Tiffany collections, including its signature designs by Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, and Jean Schlumberger; as well as accessories, china and crystal gifts.

Macy's department stores agreed to buy up to $3 million in polished diamonds from Basal Diamonds of Canada to feature in 20 stores beginning mid-November. The deal is, according to Basal, set to increase the number of distributing stores by 10-per month, beginning in December.

Blue Nile on Tuesday announced the launch of its United Kingdom Web site found at www.bluenile.co.uk. The launch marks Blue Nile's first overseas expansion and second international launch, following a successful deployment in Canada earlier this year.
