The GemEx Hologram Diamond Viewer (HDV), a new, innovative in-store table mark viewer for diamond manufacturers and retail jewelers, has been developed by GemEx Systems, Mequon, WI. GemEx also developed a personal, pocket-sized version of the viewer, which can be sold for a nominal price to those who purchase diamonds from the retailers as well.

Diamond Cut - GIA to Hold Two Cut Grade Seminars in NYC

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) will hold a free seminar on its new cut grade. Only those with previous diamond training or experience qualify to attend however. The seminar will take place on July 11 and again on August 10 at the GIA Education Center in New York City.
