The Gemological Institute of America will be releasing its new book Gems & Gemology in Review: Colored Diamonds at the International Gemological Symposium in San Diego, CA, Aug. 27-29.

The illustrated book combines more than 70 years of articles and notes on colored diamonds originally published in Gems & Gemology, GIA's quarterly journal.

Copies of the book, edited by John M. King, will be available at Symposium in the G&G booth. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss the book with King during the "Meet the Authors" book-signing event Sunday and Monday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Elizabeth Foyer.
