Diamond Necklace and Ring - Mariah Carey Receives $4 million Gift From Sultan's Son

Mariah Carey has been given $4 million of diamonds by the Sultan of Brunei's son. The singer was stunned when she received a eight-carat, flawless diamond necklace and matching ring from Prince Azim just as she was about to go on stage in New York last Wednesday (23.08.06).
The New York Post's Page Six has more: 'She was doubly stunned when she found out the rocks were a gift, not a loaner. Prince Azim, son of the Sultan of Brunei, is so taken with the songbird, he sent an envoy to deliver an 8-carat flawless diamond and platinum necklace and matching ring.
