As expansion plans unfold, Suashish Diamonds Ltd., of Mumbai, anticipates building some 40 outlets across India, the company told the Business Standard. The company continues to build upon the success of its Ishi brand of jewelry, and plans the bulk of new stores for Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Guwahati, Bhubaneshwar, and Ranchi.

First reported by Rapaport News in August (read story) Suashish Diamonds is looking to marketing the Ishi brand worldwide. Currently Ishi diamond jewelry account for about $200 million in annual sales across India and Dubai, but the company hopes to enter Europe and the United States for future growth, both as a vendor and as a retailer.
