For people looking to enter the glamorous jewelry industry, the Gemological Institute of America's (GIA) "Graduate Diamonds Program" is the perfect place to start.

This seven-week program starts Feb 10 at GIA's Los Angeles Branch, conveniently located in Culver City -- the heart of screenland.

In less than two months, students can develop the skills of an experienced diamond professional and earn one of GIA's internationally respected diplomas.

In addition, GIA Los Angeles is offering its hands-on "Diamond Grading Lab Class" at night.

This practical class has students looking at diamonds under the microscope from the very first night.

In just 10 nights, students learn to buy and sell diamonds with the insight of a professional.

This Diamond Grading Lab Class is scheduled at night just twice all year -- once beginning Feb. 27, 2006 and then not again until September.
