The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) will hold a free seminar on its new cut grade. Only those with previous diamond training or experience qualify to attend however. The seminar will take place on July 11 and again on August 10 at the GIA Education Center in New York City.

In a letter to its members the Diamond Manufacturers and Importers Association urged interested (and qualified) parties to contact the GIA directly in order to register.
